Wrought Iron Tudor Window TreatmentLike the look of Tudor? You'll love what designer Kim McNelis of Blinds by Kim in Arlington, TX created with her client.

Using our versatile Toronto design and adapting the center cross-overs with a twist design, these windows look like the real wrought iron. The selection of New England Pewter for the iron finish color adds to the authentic look of Tudor design. Softened gothic arches, natural materials and high quality are characteristics of Tudor design elements.

Tableaux® + Art = Aaah! PDF Print E-mail

Strolling through Vicki Newton's home the other day, I suddenly felt a flashback to Paris. It was her beautifully composed art wall that includes pieces of Tableaux® faux iron intermixed with framed prints, photographs, and oil paintings. Grouping artwork by color and size is a great way to show off a variety of artwork.

Adding in Tableaux® adds interest and dimension to the arrangement. Moving along to the bedroom, a large heart-shaped Tableaux® sets the mood for sweet dreams. Does this give you some ideas how you can use Tableaux® in your home?

I think the only rule about using our decorative faux iron is that there is NO Rule. With a wide range of metallic finishes, and an unlimited design palette your home can be your private Parisian apartment. At the end of the day your home reflects back to you all your favorite images, findings and personal expression. Thank you Vicki and Becky for letting us into your lovely sanctuary with our camera. Check out the pics after the break!

If you are wondering just what a Z-clip installation is, go directly to our Installation section on the website. You’ll find that these thin, tiny clips are used to flush mount specially-grooved pieces of Tableaux® faux iron to glass openings on doors and windows. Z-clip installations work where lateral set screw mounts are not possible due to round-edged mouldings or too little space. Imagine standard French doors with a custom designed piece of Tableaux® inserted. Front doors go from dull to dramatic with elegant faux iron panels. Here’s how you can achieve perfect Z-clip installations.

Check out this central Texas homeowner’s use of Tableaux® faux wrought iron by clicking on the video. Tableaux® brackets in ever-popular #039 Firenze design embellish post corners on the pergola breaking up the stark straight line construction. An innovative installation of Tableaux® between two metal bars create a stable trellis sturdy enough for vines to meander around. Notice that the faux iron does not touch the ground.

Wrought iron fence top decorationOne of my most enjoyable experiences is seeing Tableaux® installed in peoples' homes! My eye is trained to spot wrought iron design on homes, doctor's offices, restaurants, etc. By now I can spot Tableaux® a mile away. You can imagine the treat is was to visit with homeowner, Vicki Newton to see her Tableaux® displayed throughout her garden and in unexpected places on her walls. What is particularly interesting is her creative use of Tableaux® to dramatize her old privacy fence.

This Tableaux® has stood up to Texas intense sun and windstorms for over 3 years. Even her little tabletop Tableaux® has maintained its strength and straightness! Tableaux® Exterior is a great product for high humidity conditions and constant contact with watery weather. Thanks, Vicki for letting us come out to photograph your beautiful backyard garden sanctuary!
