Faux Iron in the Dallas - Fort Worth Area

Written by Carol Blanchard

Tableaux faux iron found great acceptance in the Dallas - Fort Worth Area. Just look at this project by designer Kim McNelis of Blinds by Kim in Arlington, TX created for her client.

Using the versatile Toronto design and adapting the center cross-overs with a twist design, these windows look like the real wrought iron. The selection of New England Pewter for the iron finish color adds to the authentic look of Tudor design. Softened gothic arches, natural materials and high quality are characteristics of Tudor design elements.

Wrought iron windows had a practical function to supported leaded glass windows as well as decorative craftsmanship. Tableaux®'s light weight give the look and feel of charming European cottages in today's contemporary homes.
